About this place
The three-cut tuna bowl set brings medium-fatty tuna, lean tuna and minced tuna together in one bowl. Tsukiji Den’s lunch menu also includes a fresh tuna nakaochi bowl set (1,300 yen), a seafood bowl set (1,210 yen) and a grilled fish set (1,100 yen), alongside the three-cut tuna bowl set (1,480 yen). Choose the three-cut bowl to sample several cuts at once, or the nakaochi bowl for a meal focused on tuna.
One diner who ordered the three-cut bowl described large pieces of medium-fatty and lean tuna over vinegared rice, topped with a generous portion of minced tuna. Shredded nori, shiso, wasabi and pickled ginger came on the side. The set also included chawanmushi, pickles, a small side dish and miso soup, giving the tuna a few accompaniments. Another visitor enjoyed the limited-quantity nakaochi bowl with light-tasting vinegared rice. Some diners have reported that this item sells out early, so an earlier lunch may be best if it is what you have in mind.
In the evening, small plates include an assortment of tuna, medium-fatty tuna, tuna skin with ponzu and tuna shiokara. Seared medium-fatty tuna nigiri is available at 3 pieces for 990 yen, and the drinks selection includes beer and wine. The menu suits both a substantial tuna lunch and an evening meal of small plates.
